    2. I will admit I was a little surprised by the writing, as I felt it was aimed toward a younger crowd than I expected versus the Revelations series. The main character definitely embodied teenage angst and it was portrayed extremely well. I felt a little bit more was told at one versus described, but I did enjoy how much research the author must have done into Faerie lore. I personally enjoyed each character and even their interrelationships and with that fantastic ending, I cannot wait for the ne [...]

    3. Great fantasy read I liked the main character, she was very relatable. She was flexible yet had her flaws. It was an interesting setting and Fiona left room for more books. Now I'm going to go read her other two books. I would highly recommend this book it you like fantasy, action and interesting characters.

    4. I really enjoyed this book. I have not read the authors previous books of which this is a spin off and there are references to an event that happened in the other books but it is not something that affects the read of this novel. The writing kept me engaged and interested in what happens to the characters. The timeline of events is perfect and not drawn out. I look forward to reading the next one.

    5. Really enjoyed returning to Fiona Skye's world. An awesome start to a new YA series (with of course Fiona's signature recipes at the back). Highly recommended.
