    1. First of all, I have to say how eerie it is that a group of my fellow authors were sitting around one day thinking about how cool a Choose Your Own style book would be for adults, and suddenly, Kinkade comes along and offers this. Undead Rising is both a blast from the past and a forward a thinking concept that takes full advantage of the ereader capabilities. I don't think I've yet made it through all of the scenarios, but I am sure the very first path I chose ended with the same doomed fate t [...]

    2. Aha! I made it! I survived! Suck it zombies! This book is a great throwback to the choose your own adventure style game books of the past, which I loved. This is a fun romp through a potential zombie outbreak where every decision changes the story. While not perfect, the writing is serviceable enough to keep the story moving and the choices are always interesting. The zombie attacks are carried out with fear-inducing ferocity and you will die at least once. Thankfully those bookmarks come in han [...]

    3. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Of course I read some Choose Your Own Adventure stories when I was younger. And I was awful at them. I never followed the rules. Not once. It was too much fun to follow each and every tangent to see what choices would ultimately lead to what end. So when Undead Rising was submitted to me to read, I was more than a little excited to see what M.E. Kinkade had in store for her readers. Did I explore EVERY SINGLE TANGENT in this b [...]

    4. I actually finished this some time ago, but I have been trying to figure out the best way to write a review without giving away the reasons I truly loved this thing. I can't do it without leaving spoilers. So, if you loved those "Choose Your Own Adventure" books as a kid, read this. You will love it even more.

    5. An adult choose your own adventure. Will you fight and survive against the zombies or will you become one? Your choices will decide your fate.I loved these as a kid and still enjoy them now. They always seemed to have a couple of built in flaws though. The first was paths didn't always spread out like the branches on a tree with each going to its own endings. Oftentimes choices would lead back to a set path more like a river splitting into two and then reforming into one. The other flaw is that [...]

    6. Fun idea, different ways to succeed, but some of the choices lead to quite lame results (view spoiler)[like if you chose to barricade yourself in your appartment, you get bored within 24 hours with reading and puzzles of kittens so you're forced to run outside and get eaten by zombies?? (hide spoiler)]

    7. I used to read choose your own adventure books when I was 10 years old. I loved them. It was around that age when I first discovered Resident Evil 2 and fell in love with that series. This book reminded me of those loves.First of all I got the paper back edition and cannot speak to any issues a "Choose your own adventure book" might encounter on kindle. As a work of fiction the writer's voice is unique and strong. The tone sits somewhere between snarky, serious, fun and sincere and oscillates bet [...]

    8. Do you have what it takes to survive the zombie apocalypse? Do you believe you have the chops to protect yourself and make the right decisions that will guarantee your safety in a world where your neighbors view you as the next midnight snack? Megan Kinkade's inaugural genre fictional piece is an enjoyable read with a multiple number of endings that you, as the reader, can determine by the decisions you make during the course of a day when a viral outbreak in NYC leaves the population at the mer [...]

    9. So Fun!! Growing up I loved choose your own adventure books. Everytime I read them it was something new, something that changed depending on my mood. I was so excited when I got this book and felt like a kid all over again. This is an adult choose your own adventure and I have read this book 3 times so far and each time I have had different results (well 2 times are the same but how I developed into the undead is different). I know that I will read this book more, just to see if at some point I' [...]

    10. Avoid or become a zombie. Doesn't matter. The outcomes are awesome either way.Choose Your Own Adventures are for kids. Decide Your Destiny Zombie Edition is for adults. With over forty different endings, there is hours and hours of delightful endings to explore. Becoming a zombie is part of the fun and making choices as a zombie is awesome.

    11. This book is a hoot! Made me laugh out loud. This "Choose Your Own Adventure" book is creative and entertaining. It reminds me very much of the old DOS adventure games like the Zork series. It's funny how many ways you can turn yourself (unwittingly) into a zombie. A great read.
