    1. Absolutely loved thisOut of all of Giovanna's books, Sarah and Brett are by far my favourite characters. I love the writing style in this book and the one before. I could read about these characters all day.

    2. I had been saving this book until now for a Christmas read. This book is filled with so much cuteness and loveliness which is Giovanna's trademark. I love that with these shorts I can go back and re-live the sweet romantic relationship that bloomed in Dream A Little Dream.

    3. I read Dream a little dream earlier in the year and wasn't too impressed so didn't have high hopes for this but thought I would read it as I love Giovanna and wanted to give this novella a chance, I actually really enjoyed this story!!. I think it is always hard to write Novellas as they are so short that the story never gets going and they always seem lacking however this did not. One of my main complaints with the predecessor to this novella was that I felt Giovanna was trying too hard to be f [...]

    4. Dream a Little Christmas Dream by Giovanna Fletcher is a cute little spin off of Dream a Little Dream. The sweet story only last for about 70 pages so it is not a long story. It was nice to hear from all the characters again and now know what they are up to in the future! The book spread romantic everywhere. It was cute and lovely to read. It also brought festive cheer to me and now I am even more excited for Christmas! Right now is the perfect time to read such a book!

    5. I love how Fletcher has released Christmas novella's for her past two books. Not only does it get me in the holiday spirit but also gives just a little more closure on the story. So this was a sweet look at where Sarah, Brett and the gang are over a year down the road. Really, really enjoyed this. Especially since the ending of Dream A Little Dream could have used a couple more pages.

    6. Thanks to my Kayleigh-Son I was able to read this. What can I say about those beside from "Breeeeeettttttttt ❤️

    7. A very predictable novella. It kept me interested enough to read it over New Year Day, none of the characters were horribly annoying, and honestly, that's all I was hoping for. It didn't made enough of an impression to make me feel like reading the series (I went in there knowing nothing about Giovanna Fletcher's books) but I'm pretty sure readers of Dream a Little Dream other books will appreciate this one more than I did.

    8. It was fairly predictable, but still cute. I really like Brett compared to the other guys in Gi's novels. And Sarah was more likeable in this one, too. I just dislike how the author over-analyzes certain things or adds more detail than necessary. I guess it was more like "telling you" than "showing you" kinda thing. For example:"‘I guess You OK?’ ‘Yeah’ ‘Sure?’ I ask, doing that thing that best friends do where we ask questions without actually having to speak in full sentences. Just [...]

    9. I absolutely loved Dream A Little Dream earlier this year, and had been looking forward to this Christmas sequel. My only fault with the this sequel, is that it was very short, and I would have happily kept reading it for a lot longer. I honestly can't say if this will work as a standalone, as I really feel you should read the first one, as its brilliant, before reading this. Sarah's dreams are back, are they are as bizarre as ever (although there is no space sex this time around!), there are a [...]

    10. We are back with Sarah and Brett yay!!! I really loved them and their group of friends in Dream a Little Dream, so I was excited to read about them again.I enjoyed reading about snippets out of Sarah and Brett’s life. I still think they are a great couple. Sarah continues to have really weird dreams and Brett starts acting strangely, what is behind that?! She starts to question everything he does and is sure he wants to leave her.As if this is not enough, her best friend Carly announces that s [...]

    11. I suppose this is alright if you haven't listened to 'Dream a little dream' (book 1). But most of what happens in the original is repeated and fills half the book so that people who haven't read it understand the relationships between people and what has happened. Then we get Sarah's dreams again. One advantage of this book is it isn't really long and drawn out like book 1, so in that respect it is better. From the title of this one, I thought it might be a bit soppy but it only is at the end re [...]

    12. Oh my God I am writing this with tears streaming down my face, no joking, this little novella left me feeling very damn emotional, it was everything I wanted and more! Dream a little dream has definitely been one of my favorite reads this year and the couple of Sarah and Brett will definitely rank in one of the highest places of my favorites couples, because I mean they were just perfect. I gotta say that because I share a lot of similarities with Sarah I found myself concerned for a moment ther [...]

    13. I totally loved the story of Sarah & Brett in 'Dream a Little Dream'. This is a mini christmas exclusive. It's a short story and it lives up to the crazyness that Sarah is, her dreams are still just a little out there. Here we see Sarah & Brett have their first christmas together. But one of Sarahs dreams seem to be coming true (to her!) and she gets a feeling that Brett is going to dump her. He's acting very strange when Sarah approaches the subject of their future. Because of Sarahs cr [...]

    14. As soon as I read the first chapter I knew my love for Sarah and Brett would come flooding back and after reading this book I loved them even more.It was easy to follow even though at first I thought there could be a possibility that I may have to read up on “Dream a little Dream” as I read it in the summer but that wasn’t the case. The way Giovanna just made you go straight back into the world of Sarah Thompson was so well written and made it such an easy and enjoyable read.It was full of [...]

    15. I wrote a review about my disappointment with Dream a little dream. So it's only fair I comment on this little Christmas novella. I found this book so much better than the main novel. It was great to catch up with Sarah and Brett and I found the story so much more relatable. I really connected with their situation much more easily than in the main novel and I found this little gem much more enjoyable. Sometimes saying less is more and there were some things which I felt didn't need to be include [...]

    16. This is a follow on from dream a little dream I was excited that she was bringing a follow on but a Christmas short story. Sarah lives with her boyfriend and a best friend, the best friend announces that she is moving in with her boyfriend and Sarah hopes that her boy friend will make a commitment as she loves him but she gets this feeling he is going to finish with her she goes to her parents for a Christmas meal and the boy friend announces he cannot go her parents are extra nice when she arri [...]

    17. I love the characters in this story, and it’s nice to catch up with them again, even for a short while. The plot is simple but effective, even if the surprise at the end is quiet easy to guess (but I wouldn’t want it any other way!) I also love how festive it is – as a reader you can really get into the christmas spirit with this story, which is just what I wanted. This story is short (duh!) and didn’t take me long to read at all, but that may also have something to do with how good it is [...]

    18. It was so good to get back to this world and characters again. I just love the dynamic of the friendship group and the relationship between Sarah and Brett! Although it wasn't that Christmassy themed compared to Giovanna's other novella, Billy and Me, it was still an enjoyable read which had me smiling lots, especially near the end, which was predictable but it was still great! Definitely recommend for fans of Giovanna Fletcher and for those who have read Dream a little Dream. If you have not re [...]
